The upcoming album is dedicated to the memory of Chris Allain-Who at age 37 lost a courageous battle with Cancer, while he was in the band he taught me so much musically and I was always in awe of his talents, although he has gone home to heaven, I feel his presents every time I hear a bass ring thru the P.A. he may be gone but he will never be forgotten.

Chris' Bio

Bass and Vocals. Although Chris has performed for over twenty years on many instruments, he settled into playing bass during his early college years. He attended Plymouth State College as a music education major and completed in-depth studies of both the electric bass and upright acoustic bass. He also learned to play and teach woodwind, string, and brass instruments and studied music theory and composition.

He has worked in some aspect of the music business since his college years, from teaching music to songwriting and recording, from performing in alternative rock bands to performing in musicals. He has performed with his churchs contemporary Christian music group for over ten years and recorded an album with them titled, "Catch the Spirit". Two of his own Christian songs appear on that groups January 1998 release.

He has played bass for The Lehousiana Boys since their formation in the fall of 1996. He also provides vocal harmonies on all of the bands songs and arranges instrumental and vocal parts for the group.

Chris works closely with Greg Gagne on drums and the other rhythm players to solidify the groove. He is a big part of the sound that is The Lehousiana Boys. He had worked with both Greg and guitarist Scot Gibbs in a classic rock band (Plaid Jones) prior to becoming a Lehousiana Boy.
